Among the moist awaited project from Google is Project Ara which is still a work in progress. In the event Google I/O 2015, the Google’s ATAP division has showcased the device successfully booting up and working for the first time ever. Last time, the attempt to get working the Project Ara was not successful but this time it went successful in front of the live audience and the entire demonstration went off without any issues.
Reportedly, the Modular phone booted up with the latest version of Android and we just had a glimpse of few modules get swapped in and out while the device is still on. But the sad part is that Google not yet revealed about the availability of the device. Earlier, Company announced plans for a pilot test in Puerto Rico sometime later this year, but did not disclose any information further. A full U.S. launch may happen but not soon. Let’s wait for the Official Release.
