Does anyone want to share the links with sound? If the answer is Yes, you may use it now through Chrome Browser. Google latest Chrome Extension Chrome Tone allows the users to share a link with anyone nearby using the speakers in your computer. This extension was made or developed by chance at Google, but it is getting huge response for its functionality. Once you download it and turn it on you’ll see a small megaphone in the top right corner of your Chrome browser. You can share any URL you have open in your browser with anyone else who is also using Tone.
Google researchers Alex Kauffmann and Boris Smus stated that it’s a great tool for pranking your friends or colleagues at workplace and at the same time it also works cleverly to work as a group during the meetings or study sessions. Sharing a link with audio message in the room is better than sharing the instant message r even a group chat. Coming to the privacy, it also works great in a way that the sound won’t pass through walls, so technically and practically the people who are in the room will be able to access the link you’ve shared. Google admits that not every laptop will work with Tone every time. However, it’s very easy to resend a link if it doesn’t work at first. The below is the video of Google Tone
