Apple released new Pride edition bands for Apple Watch, which includes a new Sport Band and a new Nike Sport Band series model. They’re in the Pride flag colors, and come in two sizes: 42/44mm and 42/38mm.
“The Pride Edition Sport Band is assembled by hand from individual strips of colored fluoroelastomer. The strips are then machine die-cut and compression molded together. This process results in subtle variations in the wavy rainbow design, making each band artfully unique.”
While that might look great, the Pride Edition Nike Sport Band is a bit subtle in the color scheme. The band is a monochromatic white variant, with the rainbow colors present inside the holes or perforations.
“Made from a custom high-performance fluoroelastomer with compression-molded perforations for breathability, the Nike Sport Band is durable and strong, yet surprisingly soft. The smooth, dense material drapes elegantly across your wrist and feels comfortable next to your skin. An innovative pin-and-tuck closure ensures a clean fit.”
They would also be releasing Pride Edition watch faces which would be available with watchOS 6.2.5 update, which will also match the design of the new bands. Both the variants come in two sizes and both are priced at $49.
