Motorola Razr With Android 10 | A Closed Treasure

The re-invented Motorola Razr not only offers a fully functioning smartphone touch display when it’s open, it’s also capable of many tasks when it’s closed. The Quick View Display offers simple tasks to be performed while the phone is closed, which enables you to do something quickly and conveniently. To make a quick call, just swiping left on the Quick View display will provide us with favorite contacts, and we can jut tap on a contact and make that urgent call. Although this feature is currently available only in the U.S., but soon will be available in other countries via software update expected to be released sometime in May 2020, which is this month, as of writing this article.

Things you can do on Quick View Diplay:

  • Swipe left for favorite contacts, to make a quick call without opening the phone. Even respond to messages with new Smart Reply or Quick View keyboard.
  • When the Razr is closed and unlocked, swipe right or twist the phone to open Quick Capture to open the front camera. It also has features like Group selfie, Portrait Mode, Spot Color, etc.
  • As it has Android 10, you can even use Google Maps navigation in that small display, also use other apps like YouTube Music, Spotify, Pandora etc., for music. You can even customize phone’s theme, and even make a video call. All of this from the external display itself.

Android 10 began rolling out on 11th May. So, if you didn’t get it yet, you might get it pretty soon. They’re working on making the foldable device experience even better by giving new features in external display. Which is great. So, what do you think of foldable phones in general? And what are your thoughts on this? Let us know.
