We might see Google release Pixel 4a soon enough, but what comes out before their phone are the phone leaks. Now, a Tech-YouTuber from Cuba has shared sample images taken on Pixel 4a and compared them with images shot on Redmi Note 7. At least that’s what this YouTuber claims, we don’t know for sure if they were taken on Pixel 4a.
Images taken with Pixel 4a look saturated, but close to real life colours, and images shot on Redmi Note 7 look flat or faded comparatively. Obviously, twitter compression has slight influence on how these are looking, but overall 4a images look better. It also says 12MP vs 48MP, highlighting the point that high number of megapixels don’t mean greatest quality. As we already saw with Pixel 3a, which also gave great results. If Pixel 4a gave same or even better results, it’d make competition’s task even harder to compete in camera segment.
Ironically, Redmi Note 7 images were shot with GCam mod. But looking at images, they don’t look like GCam was used. Again, take all of this with a grain of salt.
